Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines the terms for refunds and cancellations across all PlayConnect services including venue bookings, marketplace orders, event registrations, and membership subscriptions.
1. Venue Booking Cancellations

- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- If the venue owner cancels a booking, you will receive a full refund regardless of timing.
- Weather-related cancellations for outdoor venues may qualify for full refund (at venue owner's discretion).
2. Marketplace Orders
2.1 Returns
- Products can be returned within 7 days of delivery.
- Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags intact.
- Customized or personalized items are non-returnable.
- Perishable sports nutrition/supplements once opened are non-returnable.
2.2 Refund Process
- Initiate a return from Profile → Orders → Select Order → Request Return.
- Refund is processed after the seller confirms receipt of the returned item.
- Refund amount: Product price + Platform fee. Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defect or wrong item.
- Refund timeline: 7–10 business days to original payment method.
2.3 Order Cancellation
- Orders can be cancelled before shipment for a full refund.
- Once shipped, cancellation is not possible — you must wait for delivery and initiate a return.
3. Event & Tournament Registrations
- Cancellation more than 48 hours before event start: Full refund of entry fee.
- Cancellation within 48 hours: 50% refund.
- No refund after event has started or for no-shows.
- If the organizer cancels the event: Full refund within 5 business days.
- Free events have no financial obligations.
4. Membership Subscriptions
- Free trial period (if offered): Cancel anytime during the trial — no charges.
- After purchase: Memberships can be cancelled at any time; you retain access until the end of the current billing period.
- Pro-rated refunds: Not available. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid charges.
- Exceptions: Refund may be considered within 7 days of purchase if no premium features were used. Contact support.
5. How to Request a Refund
- Log in to your PlayConnect account.
- Navigate to Profile → Booking History / Orders.
- Select the booking/order and click Request Refund.
- Provide a reason for the refund request.
- Our team will review and respond within 48 hours.

6. Refund Timeline

Note: PlayConnect reserves the right to deny refund requests that are fraudulent, violate our Terms, or are outside the refund window. All decisions are final.
